Banana pancakes for breakfast

Are you looking for a new way to make sweet pancakes? Well, here’s a quick and easy recipe for banana pancakes that are good for breakfast.

banana pancakes

These pancakes are all about bananas.

If you love the taste of bananas, you’re sure to love these banana pancakes.

Not only do I love that they are easy to prepare and cook, but they are super soft.

So, as I made mine this Sunday, let me go into your kitchen with you and make yours!

Banana pancakes

bananas, flour, milk, sugar, eggs
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 cup purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar (optional).

Note: The amount of these ingredients yielded about 10 pancakes for me. So if you want to make more or less, you can always adjust your ingredients.

Combine your flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Then take your eggs and beat them in a separate bowl. Mash your bananas. In the next step, mix the mashed bananas with the beaten eggs and whisk until everything is well mixed. Then, add the egg-banana mixture to the flour mixture. Whisk well until everything is evenly distributed.

bananas, and pancakes

Now is the time to cook your banana pancakes!

Heat your frying pan/skillet until it is hot enough. Drizzle or brush the surface of the pan with a bit of oil to keep the pancakes from sticking.

When the pan is ready to use, pour in the batter. Not too much this time. About 3-4 tablespoons for each pancake. If you’re having a hard time with this, just measure out a quarter cup, which would be an ideal size for this type of pancake.

Let the pancakes bake for about 2-3 minutes or until they start to bubble. Flip them to the other side until they are browned. Repeat the process for each pancake.

You are done with your sweet banana pancakes. I hope you enjoy them.
