I know you’re wondering. Aren’t carrots just meant to be snacked on raw or cooked? Well, that’s all I knew, too. It wasn’t until the late Mrs. Kamau, who was our lay reader in those days when I was growing up, told us about carrot juice and why it’s worth trying now and then.

The late Mrs. Kamau was a great high school teacher who had a passion for her well-being. She took the opportunity to share the knowledge she learned from some health specialists while in the United States.

Since then, I have learned how and why to take my carrots differently and often.

For the same reason she shared with us, and I believe it was her willingness to share knowledge and valuable tips with others, I share this with you.

But first, before we get to the carrot juice recipe part, let's note what benefits long come with it.

If you visit the National Library of medicine, you can see various nutrients that we benefit from taking carrot juice.
