I know you’re wondering. Aren’t carrots just meant to be snacked on raw or cooked? Well, that’s all I knew, too. It wasn’t until the late Mrs. Kamau, our lay reader in those days when I was growing up, told us about carrot juice and why it’s worth trying now and then.

The late Mrs. Kamau was a great high school teacher passionate about her well-being. She took the opportunity to share her knowledge from some health specialists while in the United States.

Since then, I have learned how and why to take my carrots differently and often.

I share this with you for the same reason she shared with us, and I believe it was her willingness to share knowledge and valuable tips with others.

But first, before we get to the carrot juice recipe part, let's note what benefits long come with it.

If you visit the National Library of medicine, you can see various nutrients that we benefit from taking carrot juice.

But, in the meantime, here are the most common benefits of carrot juice according to Mrs. Kamau’s teaching and the long research I’ve done over the years.
