How to make a cowrie shell anklet
Step 3: Use the tape to tie this end somewhere ( like on the table’s surface) to work efficiently; however, you can also do without it.
Step 4: Start setting your first cowrie shell. Insert each string from the opposite direction (top and bottom).
Step 5: After finishing doing that, tie a knot.
Now it’s time to know how to tie a knot for your cowrie shell anklet – a knot that will help you move the anklet easily when you put it on and take it off.
Check out the pictures below on how to tie a knot.
Repeat the process at least 4 to 5 times. After you finish, cut off the two ends of the string you’re using for the knot and tie them tightly so they don’t fall off. (see photo below)

When you are done, make sure you tie a knot on both ends of the double strings that the shells have.
Note: Before you tie these knots, you can add shells or beads for decoration if you want.
You have already made yourself a cowrie shell anklet with just 3-4 tools. I hope you have fun making your anklet this summer.
