This orange spinach smoothie is one smoothie that combines iron-rich ingredients with vitamin C to help enhance iron absorption. The reason is that it contains orange, which all of us know is a good source of vitamin C, and spinach, which is rich in iron.

Apart from that, this orange spinach smoothie also contains bananas and is even healthier, as banana comes with many minerals such as potassium, vitamin B6, and even vitamin C!

All you have to do is peel the fruits and slice them to fit in the blender for easy blending, add all the other ingredients, and blend until smooth!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 orange
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Peel and slice the orange and banana to make them easy to blend.
  • Put the fruits in the blender and add spinach.
  • Add some water and blend for a minute.
  • Add chia seeds and mix until everything is smooth.

Notes

#If you'd wish to have your smoothie cold, you can go for frozen fruits or add some ice cubes while blending.
