Say hello to the smoothie category in the new year and try this easy pineapple smoothie! It’s made with just four ingredients and is perfect for breakfast or when you are craving a smoothie!

As you may recall from my previous smoothies, I’ve always said that I prefer to make smoothies at home because I can prepare them the way I like—the right consistency with the right amount of sweetness and using the freshest ingredients.

This pineapple smoothie is so fruity, delicious, and fresh. I made it without frozen ingredients, including new pineapple cubes, a fresh banana, honey, and a little skim milk.

Although we have always talked about smoothies in the summer, no one said you couldn’t have them in the winter or other seasons. So let’s enjoy the refreshing and tropical taste despite the chilly weather outside!

The four ingredients in this smoothie

  • Pineapple: I use shop-bought fresh pineapple.
  • Banana: Also a fresh one, but if you like your smoothie a little colder and don’t have ice cubes, you can use a frozen one.
  • Honey: An excellent smoothie sweetener. Honestly, I don’t sweeten my smoothies often, but why not give your soul what it wants sometimes. Lol!
  • Skim Milk: Whenever I need to use milk in my smoothies, low-fat milk or almond milk is my #1 choice.

How to go about it!

Pretty simple! All you have to do with this pineapple smoothie is blend all the ingredients. Nothing complicated. Depending on how powerful or large your blender is, you may have to do it in parts.

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pineapple cubes
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup milk (low-fat)

Instructions
 

  • Puree the pineapple, banana, honey, and sweet condensed milk in a blender until smooth. Add cold water if needed to thin the mixture to the desired consistency.
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy!
