This season I’ve resolved to consume more and more spinach. After all, it’s a season of warm weather, and the plants are growing well right now!
I want to fuel my body with more fiber, calcium, and antioxidants and even promote overall eye health.
Lost? Please don’t, dear reader… I’m just talking about the few benefits we get from eating spinach! Or may I say, when we drink it? In this case, in the form of a spinach and strawberry smoothie? Whether you prefer to say eat it or drink it, fair enough.

Strawberry spinach smoothie
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 cup cold water
- 10 strawberries
- 1 banana (frozen)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until everything is smooth.
