I’ll give you a simple pro tip that I usually go for. That is, 1 1/2 cup of flour always gives around 20 mandazis.
- Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Stir in the egg and milk until the dough comes together.
- Knead your dough until smooth.
- Roll out one portion of dough into a circle. Then cut into your desired number of triangles or any other shape that you prefer.
- Repeat the process with the remaining portions of dough.
- Heat the oil in a cooking pot until it’s hot enough.
- Fry your mandazis for around 3 minutes on every side until golden brown.
- Drain them.
