It’s warm… and as the countdown to the end of summer days is on, we cannot miss sipping this strawberry smoothie.

Fresh, cold, and fruity strawberry watermelon smoothies taste sugary sweet and can be prepared in minutes.

On this beautiful morning, after dropping my daughter off at kindergarten, I thought, why not try a new smoothie recipe. And, oh, it was so yummy, I need to continue with my smoothie addiction.

So I’m sharing this recipe with you, and I bet you’ll like it so much that you’ll join the smoothie craze.

Smoothie drinking time

You only need four ingredients, and you are good to go, as I mentioned earlier. 

That’s watermelon, chia seeds, plain yogurt, and frozen strawberries – and of course, a blender.

You can also choose to keep all the fruit fresh and add ice cubes instead. It’s entirely up to you, but you’ll still get a delicious watermelon strawberry smoothie.

  • Blender


  • 1 cup watermelon (chopped)
  • 3/4 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup natural yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds


  • Place all ingredients (watermelon, strawberries, yoghourt, and chia seeds) in a blender and puree until smooth.
  • Serve and enjoy!


For the desired consistency, you can add a few drops of water, fat-free milk, or some fruit juice.
